THE Family Business Ltd – A Must-Have Ska & Two-Tone Release for Vinyl Collectors

If you're a fan of ska, two-tone, punk, and British alternative music, The Family Business from THE Family Business Ltd is one of the most exciting releases to land in recent years. Bringing together artists from multiple generations of the ska scene, this album celebrates the genre's rich history while pushing its sound forward for a new audience.

Featuring Jordan Cardy (RAT BOY), Preston (The Ordinary Boys), and Antonee First Class (The English Beat), alongside creative contributions from Tim Armstrong and Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy, this record is a unique meeting of ska legends and modern innovators.

A Cross-Generational Ska Collaboration

THE Family Business Ltd represents everything that has kept ska alive for decades. Drawing influence from classic Jamaican ska, the UK's two-tone movement, ska-punk, and the 2000s revival scene, the band's sound is energetic, authentic, and full of attitude.

The project was born from a shared love of ska culture and the belief that its message remains as important today as ever. As Antonee First Class explains, ska has always been about bringing people together through music, regardless of background or generation.

For collectors and long-time fans alike, The Family Business offers a rare opportunity to hear artists from across the ska spectrum united on one release.

The Legacy of Two-Tone Lives On

Inspired by the iconic two-tone movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s, THE Family Business Ltd carries forward the traditions established by bands such as The Specials, The English Beat, and The Selecter.

Expect infectious skanking rhythms, punchy bass lines, punk-driven energy, and socially conscious themes that have defined the genre for generations. The album successfully captures the spirit of classic two-tone while introducing a contemporary edge that will appeal to modern listeners.
